As a technology & design company, we stumbled on a common problem. Our growth required expanding the team with individuals who had the right skills and passion.
However, we were limited to the small talent pool in the UK; which came at an exceptionally high price. We faced 3 options, and none of them worked:
- Hire locally by finding investment. We would have to compete in a highly competitive market. This would mean losing shares and our product being compromised.
- Outsourcing our work to agencies. This would mean we risk losing control and security of our products and services.
- Using freelancers did not provide the full-time commitment we needed. We also had to risk our intellectual property being compromised.
Our Solution
Our vision when creating the Wirestaff model was to create a cost-effective way to build, maintain and support our own dedicated team of quality talent.
We decided to establish a base in Sri Lanka where we can have dedicated staff and support. We have only grown and expanded ever since.
